Good point, I think perhaps bustier girls are better off with single-breasted v necks. But double breasted does have its advantages - the double coverage over the belly can have a bit of a shapewear-ish effect, holding everything in. And the buttons don't gape so much as they do on lighter single-breasted pieces. I think the trick with coats is just to try LOADS on, and to consider buying a size bigger (particularly with a belted one) so there's room for winter clothing underneath!

Great picks--I adore the coat with the frilled neckline! However, I'm not so sure about a double breasted coat for busty girls like myself. In my experience, they do tend to give a lot of bulk to the top half of the body.
